The business has retained its environmental and quality management certificates following a recent British Standards Institution (BSI) audit with no non-conformances or areas for improvement.
Originally certified for ISO:9001 in 1991 and ISO:14001 in 2018, the business maintains an integrated quality, environmental and health & safety management system which demonstrates its responsibility to their people, customers and impact on the environment.
ISO:14001 is an internationally recognised standard that helps companies develop proactive strategies to measure and reduce their environmental impact through effective management systems.
Similarly, ISO:9001 is a quality management system that focuses on customer satisfaction and ongoing improvement, enabling businesses to track their performance, fulfil customer needs, and maintain high standards.
As part of the official feedback from the BSI assessor, Measom Freer was praised for its effective quality management system and how it is supporting the business to meet its strategy of enhancing customer satisfaction and support.
Measom Freer Production Manager Ben Freer commented: “Maintaining our ISO accreditations is extremely important for the business. As a UK manufacturer, we pride ourselves on our high standards, environmental credentials, quality of service and products.
“The recertification is a testament to our dedicated team who ensure that both standards are fully integrated into daily operations.”
Established in 1937, Measom Freer is a fourth-generation family-run business specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of injection and blow moulded plastic packaging.
