During his visit, Graeme met with the team, heard about our growth plans and took a tour of our operation.
The meeting provided a valuable platform to discuss key initiatives, including the Climate Change Agreement and opportunities to share our technical expertise across the BPF membership network.
Measom Freer managing director Andy Freer commented: “It was a pleasure to welcome Graeme from the British Plastics Federation to Measom Freer. The visit gave us the opportunity to showcase how we’re investing in new equipment and product innovation to support growth and reach new markets — all while keeping environmental responsibility at the heart of what we do.
“The BPF plays a vital role in championing our industry, and it was great to share our story, explore the challenges we face, and discuss how the Federation continues to support UK manufacturers in our sector navigating evolving legislation and sustainability demands. A really valuable and insightful visit.”
British Plastic Federation senior industrials issues executive Graeme Craig added: “It was impressive to see Measom Freer’s operation firsthand and learn about their growth plans. Their approach to innovation with environmental consciousness exemplifies the forward-thinking manufacturing I see a lot in the plastic packaging industry, but is hugely undervalued. The BPF values members like Measom Freer who are actively investing in solutions that address both market demands and sustainability challenges.”
